i think its true. i mean people win 100's of millions in the lottery...sometimes very rare occurrences happen.

I'm sure it's true. High correlation parlays win all the time. Sadly, the average bettor ignores all warning of the futility of string betting and throws parlays like this out all the time. One's gotta hit every now and then, unfortunately it's usually after they've lost much more than prospective win. My friends who barely know anything about sports will throw out 10 teamers all the time. For like $5 or $10 though, putting $100 on 25 teamer takes balls, stupidity, or probably a wealthy demeanor. Most likely it's a combination of all three.

Regardless if its true or not...publicity on the FRONT PAGE of yahoo, is bad for U.S. gamblers.. good for betonline in the short term but bad overall for the business as a whole. Unless things get regulated publicity like this just leads to bigger problems...

A guy on this site that I know very well hit two very large parlays of this type last week that were worth quite a bit more than the one the OP posted.

Because it was money lines. Haha.. a guy I know hit 15 teams last year (16 pushed) $5/$28000. For some reason it didn't make the Yahoo news.

bought clemson up to -13.5? I like it. guy that I was talking about last year bought the GT NC St game down to -10 - it pushed and saved the whole parlay.

yes bought it or rather sold it up to 13.5. couldn't buy down that GT game just yet. the GT game is one of the ones I just tossed in. not sure about it.
