Top 10 pro wrestlers of the 80s
    will do a 70s and 90s later.
    Tough list

    1. Hulk hogan
    2 ric flair
    3 randy savage
    4 jerry lawler
    5 dusty rhodes
    6 harley race
    7 nick bockwinkle
    8 roddy piper

Having trouble with 9 and 10

Contenders are andre the giant, bob backlund, barry windham, stan hansen, ted dibiase
rick martel, ric rude, curt hennig, sting, lex lugar, antonio inoki, jumbo tsuruta, bruiser brody
ricky steamboat, jake roberts, king kong bundy, kerry von erich, ultimate warrior

some didnt wrestle for all of the 80s so tough choice for 9 and 10

i don't believe any of the others should be out of the top ten but would consider moving piper out
Some might not think lawler belongs but he beat em all. Won the awa world title, the unified title
over kerry von erich and beat every wrestler on this list in the 80s

The only matches Andre the Giant ever lost were ones he agreed to
throw. Even when he was older (disease and back operation)
in the late 1980s there was no opponent he couldn't have wiped the floor
                with any time he wanted.

Barry Windham and Ted DiBiase. Million dollar man was "the" character in WWE near the end of the decade. Barry Windham caught fire when he joined the Horsemen.

so why do you believe abdullah or whoever should be at 9 or ten?

we need a reason, not a name

I don't love you 4-7. Maybe that was early 80's. I think I watched on the cusp of late 80's early 90's. Ultimate Warrior would definitely be up there

                                                  9. Steamboat - Had great matches throughout the decade including vs. Savage at WM III and against Flair in NWA in the late '80's. IC champion in WWF, World Champion in NWA.

                                                  10. Ted DiBiase - One of the best heels ever, would have been champion at WM IV if not for Honky Tonk Man holding the IC belt hostage and forcing WWF to put the belt on Savage

Jake the Snake and Scott Hall were definitely 2 of my favorites. Although Scott Hall probably achieved most of his fame in the 1990's. When I was a really young kid growing up in Minnesota(home of AWA) a couple of my favorites were Mad Dog Vachon and Baron Von Rachke. Their lunacy was quite entertaining. Anyone remember these guys?
