        CrazyL,
I see a lot of people saying that and a lot of people are on the Jets and I just don't see it...

        NE is at home.

Bellicheat is still a better coach than Mangenus.

Cassell is better than earlier in the year for the Pats. Brett now knows the Jets playbook. Call it a wash.

I've been wrong before. And I could be wrong about this...but I think the Pats at home on a short week is the play...

Well, gun to my head I don't think that I could argue with taking the Pats for those reasons. Hell, Belichick alone and his pure disgust for Mangini would be (in my eyes) a significant factor to handicap around disregarding the pointspread of course. Without Brady, and with his improving, essentially 'rookie' QB Cassell, I think Belichick would do literally 'just enough' to win assuming they get out to an early lead. Smell a 24-21 game, or a Jets win.

And let's remember, Favre is at his best when he's not asked to do too much. At 6-3 and tied for first in the division, and coming off a 47-3 victory, I think the old man will be tempered and pick his spots well against an aging, depleted defense that just lost Adalius Thomas for the year.

I'm looking at NE -3 -112 (-114.2 with commission) at Matchbook right now.
