SBR 128 Man Round 2 Review
Round 2 of the 128 Man Handicapping is complete, and when I say man I do mean it, as our resident female NFL handicapper has just bitten the dust with an embarrassing 1-8 -7.57 performance over fellow SBR forum poster Cavstime09. It was literally the most lopsided match in handicapping contest history, with Cavstime09 having his foot on Sportsgirl's throat the entire duration of the match with a dazzling array of winners.
In other news, our champ has fallen with rjt721 biting the dust and being trounced out by SBR forum poster mtneer1212. mtneer1212 went into this match as a sizable underdog as many cited rjt721's pedigree in this tournament and considered him to be a sure-fire advancer to next round, but mtneer1212 would have none of it. rjt721 suffered the post Superbowl victory letdown with his early exit, but nonetheless exited to a sea of applause from fellow contestants and fans alike.
In an exciting match, we saw SBR forum poster Bread eliminate pavyracer in a rather one sided affair. The two gentlemen exchanged a healthy serving of smack talk, photoshopped pictures, and good natured ribbing. Pavyracer claims to have had a vacation coming up over the weekend, so he rushed most of his picks in before Friday and ultimately didn't muster enough of a fight to stay in this tournament. Bread, who has had a controversial history throughout this tournament has inked his name into round 3.
We also saw LT Profits absolutely bite the dust with a dubious 1-7 outing over SBR forum poster tobtysch39. Many people believed LT was due for a strong showing in this tournament after being a first round knockout throughout this events history, but this time it was round #2 which had darkness at the end of the tunnel.
Round 3 should be a great one folks!
