Monday Night Under The Lights: Plus Money Prop
These are real nice in the right spots. Tonight looks like a spot.

    DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS SCORES A TD [+160]
Bears are rolling with defensive TDs in three straight - five defensive TDs in that stretch. The Bears lead the league with 13 INTs and should get some good pressure on Stafford to force some potential mistakes. Jay Cutler is always a potential pick waiting to happen, especially in a prime time scenario where he likes to gun sling it. Don't forget to throw in Devin Hester in a Monday Night setting against a Lions special teams that has given up two punt returns and two kickoff returns for TDs this season and you have even more chances potentially. Sure, why kick to Devin Hester? Because players and coaches are stupid.

at what point, even at plus money, does this bet become overvalued?

seems to obvious that it hits, doesn't it?

        I like this one too.

Is anyone else considering the total sacks prop?

        5Dimes has o5.5 at +115 and o5 at -145

This price is about standard for a football game. So there is no real edge to it number wise. Picks & Return TDs are still very difficult to get, so most often books are not going to adjust it very much.

Look for Bears to focus on run and short quick passes. Think their OL keeps them upright with giving up 1 sack. I don't like the O 5.5

The game comes down to field goals, at least in the first half anyways. For the lions you gotta take the points when you can and hang in. For the Bears you gotta take points out of fear for cutler turning the ball over near the redzone. Field goal prop looks good United. Check out both teams make fg over 37 yards too for +195. Hanson is money from outside of 35 yards and Gould is 10-10 so far this season on his kicks, 7 outside of that range. Good luck fellas.

FG props are coin flips. I don't generally like playing the total on them. I think you can find some good spots to play the props on FG length, especially in domes with big legs. Outdoors in Soldier Field, not big on that.

so take it. there's your fairy tale "edge".

EDIT: don't wager your mortgage on it, but within your means for a dessert prop bet on the NFL.
out of all the snaps we'll see,
Chicago's defense (assuming you've read ANY NFL stats sheet) will probably get a pick-6 on this Detroit offense. Devin Hester just makes this line so weak. I expect it to fall before gametime.

Appreciate the responses boys. Wind isn't too bad in Chicago by the looks of it - 10mph. I can see both teams relying on their FGs tonight, especially Lions. Lions have made 16/17 FGs, joint 3rd highest FG made in the league. Bears with a 100% FG record but only attempting 10.
