ML posted at Bookmaker at +700. Here's why I LOVE IT AND ALREADY PUT $150 AND MIGHT WAGER MORE:

1) Lions simply due to win, played close games with Vikes and Bears

2) In the NFL, anything is possible, as we saw again Monday night when the 49ers should og beat Arizona.

3) The spread is +14, so counteract ML wager with point spread wager. Which means if Lions cover, you would break out even.

4) Low risk, great reward. I'm loving this play!

You cannot look at a team and bet them because they are due and eventually they SHOULD win a game. Maybe this Lions team is really that bad...maybe they don't win a single game.

The odd thing in my mind, is that I don't even think the Lions are going to COVER this weekend. I have backed the Lions a couple of times this year, and although they tend to keep the game close for 2-3 quarters, they tend to lose by JUST enough not to cover. The Washington game comes to mind as I type this. Granted the ML is very high, but I would use your money for a better play than that.

Let me tell you one thing, living in Detroit all my life and being a die hard Lion fan and having season tickets for the past 15 years, there is one thing that is never never put in the same sentence especially this year, the words LIONS WIN, there is never a good chance or a guarentee for the Lions they are just flat out terrible there MVP is there kicker, they have used 4 different quarterbacks this year who all all terrible in exception to Stanton, the line doesnt give them a chance to establish a running game or time to throw the ball, the WRs cant even get the ball to them no matter how good Calvin johnson is and the defense well i think they speak for themselves, while i rank on the lines as much as i do i LOVE the lions plus 14 Carolina is overated and the Lions have kept some games close this year, but i will be watching this and rooting for them all the way BOL GOOOOO LIONS

So are you taking Lions on the ML? No way, in my opinion. Jacksonville put up 30-some unanswered points on them last week and that's after coming off a loss to the Bengals! I think some of the better college teams could beat the Lions!

Save your money for a ML bet that you at least have a chance of winning.

The Chiefs as least have some good players on their team. Gonzo is fantastic and whatever QB they play that week, Gonzo is always on the receiving end. The Chiefs would easily beat the Lions ... so it isn't wise to compare these two as equivalents.

just cuz a team is due doesn't mean shit. They had a terrible GM for mutliple years and they had to picked up guys on defense to run cover 2. They had to pick up CUT PLAYERs for there defense.

Detroit is a joke, and now that Daunte is back...he's washed up and just not that good anymore. He can't make the reads and progression that is needed to win in the NFL... NFL has evovled over the past 5 years. Daunte doesn't get it...
