If anything I would lean towards the Jets. Adalius Thomas, a big part of the Pats Defense is out with a broken forearm. I am not sold on Cassel and think the Jets will game plan against him well. He literally does not go through his progressions and locks onto his receivers too often. I would take the + points anywhere from 3 and over.

Big game Thurs. to decide first place in the AFC East. Looking hard at the Jets here, if it wasn't for that poor game against Oakland in OT, the Jets would be on a 7 game winning streak. But I am a homer, usually don't bet for or against my team. I got a good feeling about this one.

What makes you think that the Pats can blow out a team? And don't say the Denver game. That had little to do with the Pats and a lot to do with Denver's horrid defense. The Jets are a very tough team to run on and if the Pats can't run the football I don't think Matty can beat them. Just my thoughts.

Pats have won 11 out of the last 12 meetings. Pats are at home. Pats have the better coach and will probably have the better game plan. Pats too can stop the run and old man Favre has not done well this year when the run got stopped.

Plus old man Favre chokes a lot in big games

and this is a very big game, winner takes 1st in the division
