did the program say anything about these girl's pimps. i mean you can't go to court with this stuff without being investigated and looked into. they have to have someone who is putting all this together.

when you go to high end, pimp usually have some kind of political connection. high end shops has higher profile clients, so they spent money on bribes and information from the police. still a risky business. 25k might seem a lot, but there are lots of hidden overheads.

i donno how you bust these pimps. i guess the only way is to bust a high profile clients and work your way in...like elliot spitzer. most lawmakers are regulars there also, so don't expect too much effor putting into busting these shops.

actually 10k a day is not a lot for these clients. when you run a company with multi-million dollars transcations daily, 10k isn't that much. the price is also a bar to keep out the seedy clients.

one day when i am in a position of responsibility i am going to shut down this immoral stuff...i watched a bit of the cnbc piece and concluded that the prominence of these high end hookers are a sign for the destruction of a wholesome America. A reason foreigners think so little of us. Switching back to the Lakers game now.

Unfortunately, if there is a market there will be a service and the only thing that changes is the amount of money a customer can afford to pay. I too find immoral the amount of money these ladies make with their bodies while other people work so hard and yet don't make enough money to have a decent living. As for foreigners thinking little of America, prostitution is the lesser of all the things people think are wrong about the US around the world; like Pico very well remarked, there is prostitution every where you go, and, it's more of a emotional therapy for these high rollers who can afford being with one of those women. Here's the paradox, prostitution is in deed immoral and yet socially accepted, either I'm wrong or we all are hypocrites.
