Is The CFL The Biggest Joke Of A League In Professional Sports?

I hardly see anyone discussing it here, and for good reason. I live in Canada and almost nobody cares about it, or acknowledges it is on. There are like 9 teams in the league. How prestigious can it really be to win the championship? The championship winner is forgotten by breakfast the next morning. Does anyone here even care about it? Bet it?

its a joke on the eastcoast, western canadians seem to love their teams win or lose

i like the game though it's fast high flying football, lots of deep pass plays.. much better TV product than NFL imo

I agree. I can't see anyone enjoying it unless they had money on it. From a neutral fan perspective, most people, especially on the east coast. do not care about it. They would rather drive 3 hours to Buffalo to watch the NFL than drive 20 minutes to Toronto to watch a playoff game.

Just curious if anyone here likes it or bets on it. They need to do something about the league to get more fans. I don't like the 3 down rule, the massive end zones, the 1 point missed fgs, the annoying horns in the crowd, the play clock stoppages. I only watched it when Doug Flutie was there.

How is it pathetic? Do you know how much they charge for Bills games in Toronto? It's ridiculous. Which is why Leaf fans drive to Buffalo to watch it there because it's cheaper.
