Michigan has an outstanding offense when they are playing whore shit teams. That being said, Michigan St., their bread and butter is on D. Now, Michigan St. has looked putrid the last few weeks but remember this is a rivalry game. There is no team Michigan St. hates more than Michigan. Michigan has Ohio but Michigan St. has no one else. This is the game they prepare for. There is no way in hell they lay an egg here. They will keep it close, I see basically a FG or TD sealing the game. 9.5 is WAY too much.
Take Michigan St. tomorrow +9.5

#16Michigan State doesn't have any consistency in O. The problem is their OL, which has gone from weak to atrocious due to injuries.
There may be one or two, occasional bombs from Maxwell to his receivers (most likely Burbridge), but again... there will be no consistency in passing. Michigan will put 8 in the box to stop Bell (who is the most impressive weapon MSU has), and they will keep him at around 100 yard rushing. They have a decent FG kicker in Conley who can connect at 50 yards+.
--> MSU score prediction: 13
Last year's game was decided in the battle between Mich OL and MSU front seven. Worthy was the dominant force in MSU DL, continuously penetrating on the inside. In addition, MSU were able to time their blitz perfectly and killed Denard with 7 sacks I believe. (There must have been something in the snap count.) Those two factor are gone. Worthy is gone for sure, and I am sure Michigan coaches fixed their snap count issues. Denard will have a 100 yard rushing day and will connect short/mid range passes efficiently, although he may still throw 1 or 2 interceptions.
--> Mich score prediction: 24
I didn't bet on either side yet, but -9.5 Michigan is about right. I would be very cautious.Comment -

#22This game opened up at 5Dimes at Michigan -11 earlier this week
An absolute ridiculous line... unless... Michigan does indeed cover. Line has been going down ever since.
I like State +9.5 also... but this game is very fishy. No play yet.Comment -

#23Michigan is going to control this game, as Michigan State has no chance of competing against the offense of Michigan. I took this game on Monday because I liked it so much for all the reasons that are pointed out in the video below from here on SBR that was posted I believe on Wednesday.

#26Mich St was much better last year. Usually you'd see 3-5 points in these Mich/Mich St matchups ....seeing 9.5-10 available is fishy....you're right Mich beats up on bad teams and Mich St is a bad teamComment -

#33I took Mich St +10 -110 on Sun or Mon. Too good of a defense against a fairly one dimensional offense not to grab up this many points. The QB and WR's at St are a big question mark, but if they can get anything going offensively that D will help them out tremendously.
It is essentially the same D on the field from last years game(9 of 11 players). The D gets beaten down because the St offense cannot stay on the field long enough to rest them. Last week St D was lights out, especially the 1st half, but gradually tired, still played a solid game.Comment -

#35Whatever the formula says, this is a pick'em game in East Lansing, maybe +/- 1 point either way. A more accurate spread in Ann Arbor is Mich -7, they will not run all over this D, and should struggle to score.Comment
