#36think the pens will be in play so early that it might not get there for gm as cards havnt hit sf pen much and cards are bringing in the flame throwers...i like them to get 5 before 5 but not sure the other 3 runs ever come..Comment -

#39well these assholes returned the favor,,what a shocker that it gong back to your neck of woods, lol....son of bitch i really wanted to cash that ff ov 4, damn cards get 2nd and 3rd no outs not 1 fukkin run, then leadoff double and no run, lynn did his part and gave up the 4 run inning and pens did what we would expect, just needed cards to drive in 1 freaking runner! push total and cards losing is double shitty...Originally posted by tatddySF had game 3 on a platter and didn't want to come to dinner. #40You can blame that idiot ermmzywhatever for running his overconfident mouth in too many threads. I had SF FF -1/2, pk at +158 or something close and retapped SF series price at +770 small. Already on the series at +220 so didn't want too much more.
You know the drill banker, you've gotta win game 6. But STL is the one team who isn't gonna stress about this. And SF has been terrible at home lately.Comment -

#45Plus, most people don't watch enough baseball to know that Zito got clearly pinched in the NLDS against CIN. His stuff was there, his curve was on point but the damn ump was getting fooled it was so good. You take a guy like Zito, pinch him, put him in the stretch, get the pitch count up, and it's pretty easy to let an inning spiral out of control.
Zito's stuff has been much more often good than bad for a few months now.Comment -

#49Zito is a VERY below average big league pitcher by any objective measure. Do not be deceived by his W/L record or the fact that the Giants win when he starts. That is mainly a function of run support. In other words, the Giants are winning in spite of Zito being a below average pitcher. That being the case, he pitched well tonight and I have to admit I am very surprised. I thought this would be it for the Giants.Comment -

i love how ppl overreact after every gm, yesterday sf was done now stl is done, dont get me wrong i bet cards as i do every playoff gm im a homer (-1.5 of coarse, no juice needed w stl!) but not sure why anyone surprised it going back to sf? never figured this be a short series and nothing has changed... home/road means jack shit to these teams...Comment -
