I remember going to games with Scott Kaminicki Scott Sanderson Mel Hall Jesse Barfield Alvaro Espinosa and steve sax Steve Farr Steve Howe. Only saving grace was donnie baseball. Those late 80's teams were awful.

I think relatively speaking and all things considered nasher, this team got as far as it should -- if not a step beyond.

They may be flaming out in this series, true, but they weren't going to beat the Tigers. Detroit has too many guys in their prime age wise, two (or maybe three) elite players, and arguably the best starters in baseball.
