The fact that you think 500 million is anywhere close to 500 billion or 6 trillion or 20 trillion is more troubling than anything rkelly said. 500 million is .008% of 6 trillion and its .0025% of 20 trillion and its 0.1% of 500 billion.

In other words, you would have to spend 500 million over 10,000xs in order for it to equal 6 trillion. That's like someone who makes $50k a year freaking out about spending $5 on something a year.

Lets put this in real context the federal government takes in 2.2 trillion dollars a year in revenue. In order for it to budget neutral at current tax revenue it could have 5000 programs that cost 500 million each. In terms of someone who makes 50k a year that's 5000 things they spend $10 on.

But give a total free pass to an arrogant inept President to blows a half trillion of your dollars so that some other poor bastards will eventually have to pay for it? Solyndra wasn't the only oops, just one of hundreds.

Then why did Romney in the first debate say that the President's green energy stimulus was 90 billion? Even if you take his number as right(its not) 90 billion is 20% of the 500 billion you're throwing out. So even if every green energy program the president's stimulus funded went bankrupt(they didn't) its still be 20% of the number you're touting. If its actually 500 million, which is not the same as 500 billion, then its only .1% of the number you claim it is.
