Has anyone noticed that some of the same guys that did REALLY well in the last Ryder Cup qualifying are doing better this time out?


For instance, Rudy, Robertwrath and myself had huge leads in the US qualifying for the last Ryder Cup, but none of us did real well in the last qualifying 2 months ago. Now that was sort of due to the fact that I Rudy and I didnt play for some of those qualifying weeks, but I have noticed something different this time around.


I am by no means having a run like Rudy, but even I have started to win a few tournaments like 8 months ago. I wish that I had playe4d everyday during this qualifying, but I will at least be able to play in 80% of the tournament days. And the software just seems different for me since this new qualifying started.

#2 might be true but seriously when is the last time you saw me go out with the worst of it?

i beta-tested bodog's software and was a winning player there for years and years. also i play live at least 15 hours/week at the casino here and at least offset the rake/tips over the long run (which is pretty hard to do)...

i know people think it's crying, but seriously with fair software the odds of winning 1 tournament in 2 years of playing every day is less than 1 in 10,000. variance doesn't involve losing as a 80%+ favorite on the river every single time.

If I could get AA vs AK to hold up, etc. I'd have 5-6 wins a row. So have to settle for 1st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th. etc.

Mike I have no idea how you play, but maybe your tournament strategy is more towards "not losing" as opposed to "winning--placing 1st"

I can get my mom to play 45 man SNG's and she'll win a bunch out of a 100 played. LOL

i run even worse at the actual live sbr bash poker - lost all-in to a single out this year when winning the hand meant cashing. all 4 times i've lost the most outs i was fading was 3

i would like to crack the top 50 in the standings, but probably ain't gonna happen so i'm ok with that
