My Hokies have no defense this year and no running game. The over might be a decent play, but Clemson will win by 2 td's or more. The only thing that will help Virginia Tech is the game is a noon kickoff. Its much harder to play under the lights in death valley. Lay the points.

i haven't seen a bud foster defense this bad since the early 90s. The defense was supposed to be really good this year, but they let teams like UNC and Pitt light them up when they were playing on the road. Clemson will score 40+ points. I just don't see Tech scoring in the 30s, but i've been wrong before.Comment -

But i will say Vagina Teh was pretty impressive against Duke in the second half last week.

Warning: I'm a Clemson fan, and I do like Clemson in this game, but I think the OP is exaggerating a bit about how bad his Hokies are. I've also heard a rumor that Clemson figured out VPI's offensive playcall signals last year, which is why such a bad defense shut them down twice while allowing so many teams to put up big numbers. Don't know whether it's true....
I understand a big problem with Tech's D this year is the safeties. Teams like UNC with Renner are equipped to take advantage of that with some longer throws (Unc beat Tech 48-34), and Clemson with Boyd throwing to Hopkins and Watkins should be able to do the same.Comment -

The VT D is decent, I believe Foster is on record preseason saying it was his best unit ever(or in the past 10 years?). What happens is the VT offense sux soo badly the D eventually wears down later in games. Clemson has a powerhouse offense and will put up points on anyone. But when the other teams offense is 3 and outing every other drive, Clemsons offensive speed and power are too tough to deal with for almost any D.Comment -

I would make the same play again based on the numbers going in. Clemson is phony and will be exposed.
They were badly outgained, outrushed , time of possession, first downs, the whole spectrum.

I see they can't take care of the ball but they are not that bad. To hold Clemson to less than 300 and roll up well over 400 yards in their own building is not a bad team.

Clemson already got exposed by the best team in the ACC. FSU beat them by 12 but they still put up close to 40 points.
They will get exposed again in late Nov when they play their inner state foe USC.Comment
