ASUS Infinty, I have it, and it runs circles around any iPad, and doesn't have issues with sportsbooks like apple tends to have.

You guys are missing the point of this thread. Ipad and android can't do a million things that windows can do. Any windows tab> ipad/android tab. Asus is a great tab but is android.

My asus tablet turns into a glorified netbook. If you got the right stuff on the inside, that is all that matters. Asus is the leader as far as netbook/tablet innovation.

The difference with this one and every other one mentioned is it's running windows 8. Windows means full applications like current version of SBR poker and every other downloadable poker program or program in general. Being windows versions 8...it's formatted for touch.

Sadly I must admit this is on my list to buy.. Even worst only because of SBR Poker.... But be warned if it runs win 8 rt it will only run apps not full windows software. Some tablets will be win 8rt only.

Why can't you play SBR poker on the iPad? I am assuming it is because of the flash problems.

Adobe has come out and specifically said they are no longer supporting any mobile versions of their product. To include Android and assumingly the Microsoft tab.

That said, a rooted android can easily install adobe flash (I did it). It runs everything and anything in the sportsbook or casino - to include the slot machines, flawlessly. And in truth, better than my laptop currently, because of Chrome sometimes not liking it.

The new product from Microsoft is nice, and I was thinking of waiting to get that instead of purchasing the best full sized tab on the market. However, if you know anything about Microsoft - you know their first release of all products is about as buggy as it gets.

This is fantastic, that another big time competitor is coming into the mobile market. However, outside of a few windows phones, Microsoft has limited experience with the format. I might look into getting one, as I enjoy the windows experience on a laptop, in the 3rd installment - and not sooner.

if you're gonna get a windows tablet espacially for poker, you can't just get any windows tablet and hope you can run poker programs. The cheapest windows tablet will have windows rt, which isn't really a full windows os. You can't install programs liek you can with a regular windows pc. You can only install what's on the app store just like the ipad. So unless you're gonna be shelling for the Windows 8 pro tablets, this isn't any different from ipad or android tablets. I think this is where MS will get you, just cos you see windows and microsoft on it ppl will automatically think it can do everything your pc can which isn't the case. But if you're going for the pro models, those will be amazing.

You can download any program/app (reasonable) on many android tablets. All you have to do is go into settings and unclick "only download apps from marketplace" option.

Obviously on a rooted android you can do whatever you want.

I think you misunderstood me. I'm talking traditional program files. Like the sbr poker program where u have to download the exe file and install it. That's what you can't do with the windows rt tablets.
