Your knowledge of the sport/public perception can help

Sometimes though you gotta be able to sniff out the "trap" lines and bet the opposite side quickly...even though public/"squares" will be pounding the "trap" side, because the opposite is the "sharp" side where the real moneys coming in the line will drop and can cost you....I'm thinking of west Virginia/Texas tech as a prime example. One of the bigger trap lines of the season, everyone on west va and some mightve thought they could've got a better number on TT but it dropped ... I guess after a while you can kida get a feel for market reactions a bit...obviously you can't get every game but some you may get a feel for...I think most guys know whether to pounce on a line or sit back & wait.
