just cant bring myself to take a shot with anything but the occasional dog, and with so many dogs winning outright this year, been getting an*led

although I love all contests no matter what, I don't love the format of this one, because it doesn't reward good handicapping much, as opposed to the format of their NCAA contest, which is awesome, and rewards perceptive capping very well

It seems rather pointless because they only pay the top score from each week and the top score at the end of the season. You know how hard it is to beat out everyone?

I can't believe they aren't paying out like top ten or 25 winners.... at least throw out some free plays. I am in 30th right now and chances of me getting 1st are fading, and I am losing interest in the contest. I think everyone would have preferred the top prize to be a couple grand lower and spread out the wealth.

I know Heritage reads this board. You guy should really step up the prizes for the end of year prize. Weekly I understand.

The contest is fun and has a generous prize. Unfortunately, like others have mentioned it is rather pathetic that they only issue a prize to who is/are the top dog(s) each week. My worst week was this past week where I only had 9 correct but I changed my strategy and picked a lot more dogs, I just picked the wrong ones lol. My best week was 15 wins which was the previous week.

I really wish Heritage would have created a contest with a full board of NCAAF and NFL games and just let players play the spread on 20 games he or she chooses. This would be far more entertaining to me and it would be less "coin flippy".

it's just frustrating playing in a contest where you know there's over a 90% chance you win nothing, even if you have a very good season. I've been pretty good and very consistent. But with the format they're using, I have no chance at the season-ending prize because it rewards people who have wild swings, like a few 15+ win weeks and some weeks where you get almost nothing (and those get dropped).

They've had good contests in the past. I remember the sbr blackjack ones, even though I didn't win.
