    wager cancelled
had a sportsbook cancel a wager because of a "bad line". fine and dandy, this stuff happens. dont they have a write to tell me? an email? message on the website? something? the wager was just totally deleted as if it never happened. it dissappeared when i checked after the event. didnt even say push. feels kinda shady. this is a top rated book fyi.

FYI, all books do the same and they actually have it posted in their rules, the thing is it makes us players look bad since it apears we're taking advantage of a mistake, which in the future works against us if we have a claim. I learned my lesson the hard way, then one time I called in a "bad line" in one of the books I play with and they gave me a bonus, easy money !!!

It's too much work for them to call the clients, picture a bad line for a few hours in a big book, them calling 300 + clients, not hapening, so they just cancell until you realize the bet is gone and you call them, then you look like a stiff for complaining about it.

My advise, next time you see that happen just call it in and ask for a bonus or something, that'll make you look good and your chances of getting something out of if are good.
I once new a book named SportBet where they kept your bet, if you lost it would stand and if you won it they'd cancel it, the lines manager was a real jerk. Nothing you can do about it !

Informing a customer of a canceled bet would be the courteous thing to do. Why a lot of books don't do it is beyond me. Maybe they don't have the resources to do it if a lot of people were on it.

still don't understand the whole "taking a shot" bullsht.

When Wal-Mart makes a mistake with their pricing on chicken breasts (has happened to me before) is anybody going to say I'm taking a f'king shot at Wal Mart when I try to cash out?

              No.

You know why? Because is sounds f'king stupid.

Wal Mart will honour their fvck ups btw, books should do the same.

They're not dealing with a 12$ pack of chicken breasts though. These books are dealing with what is potentitally hundreds of thousands of dollars. If Wal-Mart forgets to add a zero on an appliance, I doubt they're giving it to you for that price.
