    From the beginning, this game was only going to be won by one score, as in 7 or <. When the line went to 8 just before game time, that's when it was time to act.

      Easy to say now after the game, if Alex Smith does anything but throw an int on 3rd down by the goal line, that's already a 10 point game.

      I'm sure you were feeling confident with 7 or less when that safety happened.....

              Whats the point in talking about ifs? If golden tate holds on to the ball, that's an extra td. If robert turbin doesn't bobble the ball that's already a 14 pt deficit. I guess you're not as smart as you perceive yourself to be. Anybody not weari g maroon shaded glasses yesterday knows that niners were lucky to win, anybody saying it was a lock is a moron.
