    Stolen Base
Carl Crawford just stole home easily against the Red Sox. I don't know if anyone else agrees with me but that just seems embarrassing.

In my heart, I'm always backing ANYBODY who plays against the Red Sox.

It's only embarrassing for half the people seeing it. I happen to think it's cool since I've got Crawford on a fantasy team, plus it's just an exciting play in baseball.

Yeah, I seen it. Im just glad he did it. Tacked on another run for me. You dont see that to often though, and Crawford did it with ease.

Crawford is one of those players that makes just about everything look good. He is a bona fide badass.

Jason Johnson seems intent on keeping the Blue Jays and Yankees in the hunt.

Orlando Cabrera stole home last week. He actually beat the pitch to the plate.

Who was pitching, Doug Jones or Bill Lee?

Jason Johnson has washed out everywhere else he's stopped along the way, why should Boston be any different?

A steal of home and an inside-the-park home run are probably the most exciting individual plays in baseball, IMO.

The steal of home, unfortuantely, is a dying art.

I remember about 30 years ago Rod Carew stole home several times in one season.

Jackie Robinson also stole home a bunch of times during his career in the 40's and 50's, but in most cases today it happens only on the front end of a double steal, when a runner draws a throw going from first to second, and the runner on third breaks for home late.

The inside-the-park home run is dying out because the parks are getting smaller.

Before Yankee Stadium was renovated in the 70's, they had the monuments on the actual playing field, and dead center was something like 470 feet from home plate.

Guys used to hit balls that wound up behind the monuments, and there were always several inside-the-park homers in Yankee Stadium every year.

Saw it several times on ESPN, and still never get tired of seeing it. Thanks for posting that link, Doug.
