I in no way mean to call any of you squares; I am having a miserable run and am not claiming that I am so sharp I don't deserve to lose or anything... I'm just making an observation.
Haven't the games that have looked the easiest gone the way they were "supposed to" at a very high rate the last 2 weeks? Dbldown claims I overthink these but I disagree; I think not thinking about what the line means and what side looks TOO EASY will get you in trouble. I think you need to be wary of games that look "too easy" that you know the betting public will pound.
But last week...
Arizona over St. Louis
Atlanta over Oakland
Philadelphia over Seattle
Pittsburgh over Washington
Were all loved by the public and the favorite (or in Pittsburgh's case, the dog) were getting way too soft a lines. Some even had reverse line movement. But all won, easily.
This week...
Tennessee over Chicago
Carolina over Oakland
Kansas City (+15.5) over San Diego
New York Giants over Philly
Oakland one doesn't fit as much because they were a big dog, but the public did pound Carolina. Undefeated Tennessee -only 3 VS. Rex Grossman?
A 3 - 5 team against a heated rival giving up 16 points?
7 - 1 powerhouse Giants the underdog?
Seems every game that looks "too easy" has cashed. Am I the only one noticing this?
