The biggest mistake imo was not running on second and third to try to get them a couple more yards while eating the clock before kicking the game ending field goal , high school coach pfffff not even ....... ..Steelers gave that one away ...Tomlin = moron at best ...cost me $1400 on the ml last night ...

'Icing' the kicker does not have a statistically significant effect. In fact the percentage of kicks made after a timeout in that situation is slightly higher than without. Also shuisams kick was fine only slightly short. Not a choke kick by any means. So one must ask... what the penetrate are you talking about?

I loved the steelers growing up. last year with big ben and dirty hits have pissed me off so i did not care that much when tebow beat them.

I agree with OP. Dumb move. Couldn't understand it at all. And I won a sh*tload of $$ because of his mistake. But I was smh the whole time he was getting ready to kick it.
