The sportsbooks are definitely open. There are lots of things to wager on.

Apart from the game itself and the Home Run Derby and any number of props on that stuff, there will be WNBA, tennis, CFL, soccer, chess, horses, movies, futures etc etc.

There's a whole world to bet on out there.

Reminds me of Rat Race, a vastly underrated film based on outrageous wagering. For genuine unabashed laughter I would suggest this movie along with another that most people are unfamiliar with called Crazy People.

Try to watch either movie without laughing. I'll BET you can't do it!

Every year accounting closes without warning at some sportsbooks. Last year Sportingbet closed accounting for a week. Actually, you could make deposits...

There will be software upgrades and probably one or two small acquisitions during this time which can affect wagering.

alot of sportsbooks are open 24/7... so why would you think they would close at all.
