    I can't belive you're comparing tube tv's with plasma or lcd, it's like comparing a type writer vs. a laptop computer !

      Listen ace, I am no amatuer when it comes to tv's. I have dealt with tv's for 4 years.

        I have a tube tv and blows any lcd or plasma and it is 12 years old.

          My grandma used to have a tv that came with legs attached to it and we had to wait 15 minutes after she turned it on for the tube to warm up and for us to finally see the image, it was hilarious. The one thing I love about flat pannels is the very small space they requiere, specially when you hang them on the wall, they even look cool in the room. The one thing I definitely recommend to any flat pannel buyer, is get a home theater, that makes THE DIFFERENCE between just watching tv and enjoying tv, mainly for sports, it rocks !
