My 2 cents in no official capacity other than as a player:

This has been one of my favorite sportsbooks for quite awhile. I like the opinionation of the lines.

They have dime lines on MLB sides which break high, and I have found good lines there on pretty much everything from NHL pucklines to boxing to Triple Crown horse racing match-ups to baseball props.

      Limits are middle-of-the-road.

I've never had a problem with a payout.

They have some bonuses but give them out grudgingly. They used to have a 25% bonus but they were very offended if anyone actually took it. Anyway that's gone and now they have a 10% cash, 15% cash and 10% cash + 20% back on losses. Check the website for full Terms and Conditions.

They use BLR software which is basically okay except that I like to work in split screen and it's no good for that. That probably doesn't affect many people besides me.

Big downgrade after they reduced the prices on their NFL teasers.

Good but not great shop now.

ABC is the sister book of Jazz sports. They are almost but not quite clones. Jazz has slightly higher juice on some lines. They are also connected in that, once you have taken a payout from one, you can't receive a bonus at the other (without first making up the payout amount).

Anyone else have any comments on ABC Islands?

Lets say someone wins 10k there, and takes 4 payouts of 2.5k each. His next deposit(s) has to be greater than 10k to qualify for any reload bonus?

That's right Donny. It's one of these books with completely unforgiving policies in that regard (like 5 Dimes, Skybook, MVP).

Even if you were down $100,000 lifetime after that payout, you would still have to make it up before receiving any more bonuses.

They have some really messed up policies in regards to payouts. You can't get your classic free payout a month there. They are just an average book. Nothing special.

i have been playing here for about a month and have really enjoyed this book. i came back when they offered me a 10% cash bonus, 10% free play, and 10% future bet for the football season. they have good competitive lines and i have never had my limits become a problem. the only complaint i have is that when you bet on a favorite it always calculate your wager as "to win," which is annoying because i bet the same amount on every game. i would highly recommend this sportsbook.

edit: i havent tried to cashout yet so cant say anything there

ABC got pummelled on teasers last year. They lost by offering payouts higher than the industry (and their actuaries) thought was sustainable.

This year, ABC has lowered its teaser payouts. Sharp players don't like it as much. From a "bond rating" perspective, this was a good change, and I am less worried about ABC going under than before.

Do *NOT* take this as an SBR endorsement for ABC Island (or any other book I may comment on).

I noticed -110 at ABC, but their "BestTeasers.com" book is offering -105 (though no bonus). Not sure if you can have accounts at both.

The "Teaser King" strategy is a bit misleading now though

Perhaps LooseLines is now the better book in the group at -105, and the same teaser payouts and no bonus I believe though SBR has LL rated lower than the rest of the group??

Solid book by me. Not the greatest but still worthy of mentioning among the better books. I have played there for over a year and never had any issues.
