yeah. Lot of value. BAL was 6-3 in New York this year. Outside of Sabathia, NYY rotation nothing special. But the problem is there are no real easy outs in the Yankee lineup whereas in the BAL lineup there are quite a few easy outs.

He's 100 years old and you're comparing his younger days to 2012? zero chance he goes past the sixth tonight

he's 27-6 lifetime against balty but that was a lifetime ago....didnt pitch against them once since 2010.

I am not comfortable fading the winningest post season pitcher in the history of the game against an unproven (albeit talented) pticher in an extremely hight profile game.

Put it in perspective, Pettitte has won more post season games, then Chen has won in his career.

His age (40) might come into play if he was a fastball type flame thrower, but he's not.

Yankees always have the best lineup. I just think pettite is old and he gets rocked tonight. I am a huge yanks fan and I know he is almost always gold in the playoffs but most of those games came when the yanks were down a game or facing some other adversity. Tonight they are up a game.

im a yankee homer also .. and loved watching pettitte pitch in the post season especially

the guy just knows how to pitch . wont overpower anyone but he will pitch his heart out tonight reguardless ... and i trust the yankee bats vs a rookie lefty in the postseason over the balty bats over a veteran stud in playoff play .... i could be wrong and pettitte could get rocked ... but thats the chance ill take
