Nicky, the habs record is good right now, but its only November.

The point I made in my original post was that the habs are a bunch of no-heart pussies that will be run over by tougher teams in the playoffs.

I'm not comparing the Leafs to the Canadiens, the Leafs have an expansion team roster, but Toronto has loads more heart than Montreal.

The 6-3 Leafs win Saturday over the (laughs) "contender" Candiens was sweet.

I feel much better knowing Montreal has no shot at the cup this year.

You can repeat it a million times that they are contenders, but that won't make it true.

Toronto stepped up their game against their rival. Big deal. There are a lot of rivalries when one team is much better than another and the games are close. The games are more or less a coin flip. I have seen both the Habs and the Leafs play this year and I would say the Leafs are deeply flawed in comparison.

I am not saying the Habs are perfect and they don't have issues they need to work through if they want to win the Cup but the Leafs really aren't even close.

The Leafs can score and that is a great weapon to have but every time they have come across a hot goalie or a team that wants to get physical they don't seem to compete very well. The Leafs still have a long way to go if they want to become a contender. Defense is their biggest weakness and because of that it often looks like they aren't even playing with a goaltender.

I am neither a Habs or a Leafs fan but this is just what I see from looking at the two teams over the course of the season so far.

Toronto has stepped up their game against almost every team and opposition goalie this season. Toronto's problem on D is that they have too many D and Wilson rotates his D to showcase a few for trades that will inevitably happen.
