well you can blame the Pats teams of 2001 to 2004 for it. their secondary raped all teams and got away with it almost always and refs wouldn't call shit so rules got changed or well just ENFORCED properly. but now it has turned into more bad calls being made, but that's because they have to enforce the rules.
