2nd longest active streak is brady with 36 games. favre only had 36 in a row & marino only had a 30 game streak.

so the real reason this is not an impressive record is that brees has missed starts during the streak.

Nice trim. Yeah, lame record b/c of passing era. Will be matched 5x in next 20 years. I'll say Brees is slightly overrated for various reasons:

1) Too short. Doesn't see the field.
2) Short-passes. Everything is underneath. Rarely goes downfield.
3) Held out when the team needed him.
4) Demanded max $$ amount, thereby weakening his WR corps, b/c Meachem went to SD.
5) Bad interview. Basically says nothing, to keep a clean image.
