If the Redskins did want to start Cousins, I don't think the NFL marketing department would even let them. They'd overrule Shannys decision. The NFL LOVES RG3. Having a QB run option in the NFL is incredibly stupid. Defensive ends are 6'5 280 pounds and run 4.6 40's. Linebackers are faster and safeties are even faster. The fact that this guy didn't get knocked out running option was a shame. Vick or RG sheet having 10-15 rushes per game is asking for injury. It is begging for injury in fact. It's only a matter of weeks before Vick is carried off in a body bag like he is every season.

I think it is incredibly stupid for Denver to run a college football offense with Tebow. So does that make it a racial thing?

JJGold said it right. You can't base an offense on a QB running and taking 10-15 extra hits in a game. The defenses are too big and too fast. Julious Peppers is as fast as wide receivers, he played ACC basketball and he's chasing you down.
