I like Lsu. But I am a square. Something tells me Florida makes statement today in the swamp. Sec experts tell me why Florida wins outright.
Thanks boys

The big reason UF gets it done...Mettenberger is a fraud at QB.
Gators had the off week to get key players back and gameplan better. Home advantage.

I'm an LSU alum who watches every game we play. Mettenberger has been making good throws all season - it's just that he's been burned by tons of drops. The only minor criticism I have of Mett is that he doesn't always step up in the pocket like a Brees or a Brady or Manning, and that cost him a sack/fumble against Auburn. The pocket was there he just didn't climb it.
I guess what I'm getting at is that IMO our offensive struggles are vastly overrated. Our defense is still easily top 5. I frankly don't know enough about Florida to play this game, but I would be surprised if we aren't (very worst case scenario) in a position to win the game late. And it's not like you're getting 5.5 points with UF, you'd be getting less than a FG. So I'd either play LSU if you're so inclined or stay away.
Just for the record, Les Miles teams are never overwhelmed by hostile away stadiums. Barring years when the top 5 talent isn't there, we either seem to lose close or win.

Nah. Mett has made great throws and he's easily the best QB that LSU has had since the 2007 season with Flynn. I'd guess that you're just looking at scores and statistics, which don't show all the drive-killing dropped passes.

But Les Miles has a 2-5 ATS record against Florida. I cannot and will not buy into Les Miles. And LSU is playing in the swamp. I'm from MD and you should have killed Towson. Towson is horrible. I know this because a RB I played against scored twice against them last week and he was a mop lol

Past trends mean shit. Big games like this when a team is laying a fg or less I would pass instead of flipping a coin

Are you serious? lol.....Marcus Randall, Jarrett Lee and Flynn are all better then this guy. He looks like he's lost half the time and I wouldn't be surprised if LSU had an un-characteristic night and turned the ball over a few times.

I'm sure you aren't an LSU fan.
Mettenberger is a game manager, who the coaches clearly don't trust. Look at his number of attempts.
You really think Mettenberger vs Driskel is a push ?! It's not even close.

I'm new here,
but I like the Florida spread. Wouldn't mind taking the ML, but spread won't hurt. Florida is trying to make a statement in the swamp, and QB will be a problem for LSU in this environment.

LSU is as seasoned and veteran a team as you'll find in major college football. They don't get up for games like that.

Flynn maybe - but Mett has much better upside. Flynn was a game manager. Mett has the tools to be a 1st round pick - he hasn't shown that yet but it's difficult when your receivers are dropping wide-open passes on 3rd and 8 and your RB's are fumbling on every 5th carry.
They'll get it cleaned up today - I'm telling yall this game is a stay away. What you are doing is overreacting to LSU's meaningless early season cupcake games. I don't see anybody doing that to USCe. Why do the Gamecocks get a pass for two shitty early season performances and LSU doesn't?

Soooooo....what ur telling me is the only game that LSU played against another SEC foe and put up these #'s was because of dropped balls. C'mon man. Auburns secondary is ass.
You know it's a good thing the QBs don't actually play against each other on the field. We will see if Driskell can beat the LSU D and not Mettenburger.

We shall see I got Florida at 14.5 in a teaser to win a total of 1538$. I'm hopeful that they will cover that. But I also have Florida in a par at +2.5. GL bud.

There ya go.
But in all seriousness, if you consider the defenses a wash, QB match-up is important. Driskle is clearly head and shoulders above Mettenberger right now.

He is prob better than mett. But seeing as the D on both sides are good, i feel that makes it a wash and the QBs wont be effective at all

I Definitley do.....SC doesn't have a great tradition in football like some other SEC powerhouses, wouldn't read much into that
