at first i was all over penn state as well...but...i didnt realize NW was the 9th ranked rushing team in the nation. perfect combo to go along with a stout defense on the road. and penn state only laying -2.5 at home should tell you what the odds makers think about them.

yes they have ripped off three straight wins but they have been cream puffs. possibly the worst illinois team ever, navy and temple.

granted NW has played some cupcakes too but they play with tremendous heart which i think will be the deciding factor here.

Northwestern has rushed all over cupcake teams. Penn state is well above the teams they played defensively.

i really doubt the public is all over NW, yea the majority of bets may be more but i would almost guarentee that there is way more money on penn state over all.

NW is not a team that the so called public typically respects, while Penn State is known as a traditional power house.

I would think most would be like "omg omg Penn State is back! they won 3 in a row kill those teams and now only giving 2.5 at home to NW! im all over this"

Gotta say Sportsguy I just have N.W. teased to +8.5 but both their td's have been lucky so far. Penn St. backers gotta be fuming after muffed punt and b.s. pass interference call on 3rd to extend last td drive before half. On the flip side NW backers pissed at these 4th down conversions our defense keeps coughing up leading to pts. Tough hard nosed ugly game!

NW killin themselves all day by not getting 3rd down and ecs. 4th down stops. Almost the entire Nittany score board has been allowed by not getting 4th down stops. And giving them that 2 pt conv. fukked all the +2.5 backers probably!

PSU outgained them by 200 yards and TOP by 20 mins. NW scored 21 of 28 points off a muffed punt, punt return, and a phantom PI. PSU covers

PSU was the correct pre-game play and it won as it should have.

I just took them in a teaser which they fukked me on. NW defense should be ashamed for allowing all those 4th down conversions which led to 21 pts I cannot believe it. You have a major advantage with a team that does not trust their terrible kicker and you blow it numerous times.
