Decided to bring this one game crap and allowing shittier record team to host first two games was not a good move. Baseball will learn that sometimes if you leave things alone you are better off. Don't make changes when you don't need them.

yeah the 2-3 format for the first round this year, is nuts. they could of waited an extra year to put the wild card round into place, but they voted on it and owners accepted it.
next year will go back to the 2-2-1 format.
i think the extra wild card round is great for baseball, it brings a ton of more teams into the playoff race in september, and it makes winning the division more important then it ever has been since the wild card was invented in the 90s.Comment -

i feel bad for the braves. they won the legit wildcard this year after collasping last year,and they were forced to play a one game playoff with a team that won like 6? fewer games. anything can happen in one game.
i didn't think the heads of mlb could get more retarded than making the all star game mean home field advantage in world series, but they found a way.

I didn't like it at first, but it is obvious the 2 best teams moved on this year ... Rangers were slumping and Cardinals are just a better postseason team. MLB did something right for once
