I didn't see what happened, but they lost 16 yards. Was it a trick play? In most cases, going for it at 4th and goal from the 7 is at least as good as kicking a FG. If you fail, the other team (normally) gets the ball around the 7 yard line, which is worth about 2.2 points more (in field equity) than getting the ball on the 27 after a kickoff.

In a 6-3 defensive game going for it on 4th and goal from the 7 in the 3rd qtr is a terrible decision unless your FG kicker is wheelchair bound

The entire reason they went for it was bc their FG kicker is godawful terrible and all they've been sayin before and during the game is how they plan to just go for it on 4th down everytime since hes gonna blow it anyway

They've let this retard kick twice so far this game the first kick got blocked the 2nd was a PAT which he missed
