Second time in a month. Today was payday. Did some bills and had a little over $600 in the account. Was going on a mini vacation tomorrow for my kid's birthday so I log onto my account and see I have $36 left. All my charges and payments are pending today which I can see but there is $585.24 completely missing from my account with no explanation as to where it is nor anything pending. This is a ****ing nightmare and the 2nd time this month it has happened.

That is the whole thing. I do not know where it went. My bank has a new online thing that now shows all pending charges which is nice. I can see, under pending, everything I did today. Every charge is listed and counted down from my original balance which ended at $621.86. that is my account balance. My available balance is $36.62. That means there is +$585 completely missing with no explanation. I wanna kill someone and of course my bank closes all customer service at 6 pm so I am completely out of luck until tomorrow morning after I was suppose to already have left.
On another note my bank sometimes double charges stuff and takes it off later(like last time) but I added up different charges and nothing computes. This is gonna be a sleepless angry night.Comment -

It is direct deposit. Now in the last 2 minutes every single pending transaction is gone and my account is -$35.13. I wanna kill someone now. I really do. WTF am I gonna tell my 7 year old who turns 8 tomorrow. I already paid the hotel room of $245 a night but there are such things as food, presents, entertainment, a resort fee, and a hold they put on your card.Comment -

To answer onlooker and money. I cannot mention which bank and no we do not carry a credit card. Why? I have been the victim of dozens of identity thefts since feb 2004. Some collectors do not like me and they have all my info so I get cards taken out in my name, bank accounts hacked into, ect. I use this very small bank so the chances of it getting found are much smaller. I am sure you understand why I cannot give the name of the bank because my next week it would be hacked if not sooner.Comment -

I went to a casino and took out $1,000 from my atm card leaving me with $325 in my account.
I get all drunk, lose the $1,000 and decide to hit up the ATM and get that $300 left in. I check my balance and it says.........$1325. Im like........SWEET my sportsbook.com pay out finally hit (1.5 weeks after I made the request and didnt know about this site nor the payout problems).
So I withdraw another $1000 and guess what........lose it.
So I wake up in the mourning and go get food and my ATM card gets denied. Im like WTF. I check my balance and it says -$625.
Long story short, my bank does night processing at 2am. Something weird with the system makes any transaction that was done between 10pm-2am reappear for between 2-5 minutes and then its gone through the system (the bank people tried explaining it but I was like WTF). Its weird. My account balance is 100% accurate until 2am in the 2-5 minute window.
SO after my shitty luck at the casino, my shitty luck put me in front of the ATM during the 2-5 minute time window.Comment -
I have 3 different banks,(BOA WF, and a Local Credit Union) BOA is the best for charges going through asap! Here on the west Coast all pending charges go through at 3am! And than go from pending to processed! Its good to check your online bank atleast once every 24hrs I feel! So that way if anything funky happens u kinda have a chance to catch it asap!
If you can, using a CC over ATM/Debit card is 10X better. Paying bills gas anything because if anything happens to them Credit Card Fraud departments look into it 100 times faster than charges on your debit card!(this is atleast from my experience!)
Also having extra cash to the side always helps!

GM. Still to this day it happens. If im took money out of my atm between the 10pm-2am window, if I can I watch my online bank account and watch the money disappear, reappear, and disappear for good.
That time the bank credited me back the $32 overdraft fee for it. So at least I didnt have to pay any fees for me being dumbComment -
Yea working Graveyard, I can log onto my account like 1am and see a charge, 3 am the charge is gone and 4am the charge is back. Like I said using a CC is 100 times better than touching your checking account. For me the less transactions going on in the checking/savings the better!
