I hit KC....... i believe Leyland wants to get sherzer in for a start like 50 pitches just to get the motions in.hes coming off an injury.Sid session if u will. he will pull cabreara and fielder after there first ab's just to say they started.

are u a suprised as i am that Jim Leyland would waste a max sherzer performance on a game that dosnt matter??? Looks like max is going for 90-100 pitches. I would rest him.

No because he's just following the rotation. Once Scherzer starts he's not going to throw again for another 4 or 5 days regardless if it's 40 pitches or 100 pitches. Not gonna matter anyway cuz he'll only start once in a 5 game series
