That really doesn't have any relevance does it? I mean he did pick Gov Jenny Granholm as his economic adviser, she only ran Michigan into the ground and has a state with merely a 10% unemployment rate. That's Bush's fault though so ya know.

Because Obama named Granholm to the economic advisory board, where she is just 1 of 17 members.... he's incompetent?
Good thing he didn't name some airheaded bimbo as his running mate like a certain douche from Alaska.
Or named a incompetent gap-toothed bitch like Con Rice as National Security Advisor (9/11... FAIL) and Secretary of State (FAIL).

I am glad you think that Rice and SofS failed. Good thing Obama wants to keep sec of defense in his seat. Never said Obongo was incompetent. Granholm is.

Why would I bring up either of those dimwits? Are they relavent? Do they matter currently? Granholm fukked this state good. What did Bush do actually all by himself to be in the economic state we gather in today? The housing market? Open a fukkin book and to a gander who pushed that bullshit. It was your buddy the dems.
Now I am one step ahead of you, you are going to say the bailout etc...the bailout was designed and put in forth to back up the failure Clinton and repub/dems alike pushed with the housing situation. If the bailout hadn't been put forth your dollar would be worth as much the the leaves you would be wiping your ass with. Oh ya, Obama voted for the bailout too.

Lot's of solid choices. Notice the only two sore thumbs?
Granholm
Villaraigosa
I never said he had an abundance of inept advisers. I simply stated she was a horrible choice. I realize now why she was. She helped Biden during his debate practice as a stand in Palin.

not sure why you continue to tell me i am a liberal or a democrat when i am registered as neither. you dont have a graps on reality my friend. where have you been the last 8 years, the poor get poorer, the rich richer, the made up war has helped double our debt. this is his war, nobody else's. he chose to invade after 911. he asked us to shop, nothing more. he asked for nothing, and invaded a country for no reason at all. this is his mess, everyone knows it but you, hence the 20% approval.

Just check out his Facebook page if you still have any questions. The guy has been campaigning for 21 months. Anyone who says they don't know who Obama is just isn't paying any attention or isn't interested in getting to know him. Read "Dreams of My Father" if you want to know who Obama is but you probably don't read.

I won't pin you as either, you're simply an erratically challenge person.
Bush told people sign up for credit cars, take out loans they had no business taking out, spend oodles of money even if it were out of their means? Are you serious bro? I hope you're not. Dumbest thing I have ever read of yours.
Take a step back. Why are the poor, poor? Tell me that. Is it the fact they are lazy and can't grasp working their way through college into the working class? Is it much easier to sit on your porch, collecting a check that was government subsidized monthly? Enlighten me with your uber political wit.

You know what will end everything? Bringing everyone down to the lowest tier just so we can all be equal. This is a free market society. Everyone has the same resources to develop themselves into being something. Just the strong survive and the weak settle.

I understand everything I say. I understand that you get what you give. You go to school, try, get good grades, do your best, work your way into a solid university, do great there, look for a great job.
or
You sit on your porch, bitch about the rich, collect welfare, keep sitting there, grab a MGD from the fridge, blame the rich some more, wish you were rich, die on the porch.
Most of todays society is based on whom you know. I know this, but when you don't do anything to better yourself as a person or educate yourself so you're qualified to be rich, you have no excuse. You're simply lazy.

big striking generalization
lets compare
obama to bush
born poor, raised to harvard law
bush
born rich, did nothing till he was 40, got a free ride on the ballpark in arlington, bankrupted like 4 companies and the country
so i guess its who you know eh.

Three words: Republican Fear Mongering.
Let's review the story: Mother is white, Father is Kenyan, He was raised by white grandparents in Middle America. He worked his ass off to get where he is. If you are overly worried, then your a racist, plain and simple.
Jesus H. Christ himself would need at least four years to dig out from the mess that Bush-Cheney-Rove left us. I say the guy gets it fixed and he'll be a two term president.
Have some faith. He's already working harder as the President elect than Bush did as president.

You just proved my point. Obama was able to do it, everyone is able. Obama chose to and stuck with it. Look what he did. Look what the clown who quit is doing. Sitting on the porch still in the rocking chair singing to himself, "Woah is me."

Bush had a chance to be a great President with how he handle Sept 11 and how responded to the war on Terror. Because of those events everyone in the country stood with him and trusted him.
What he did with all that support was wasted on a fictional WMD war in Iraq, failed us miserably economically, completely mishandle the Katrina disaster that cost over a thousand lives. That, you cannot not blame the Democrats for and that is why his legacy will be tainted.

We should be done with Iraq. I have admitted it time and time again. I don't understand why a group of politicians with Ivy-League educations can't sit on the carpet square indian style and brain storm a strategy.
Welfare will boom here in the next year. It's far from over.

How much could we use that $10 million or is it $10 billion dollars a month that were spending in Iraq? Every day we're over there we're playing right into Bin Laden's strategy of "bankrupting America'. I say this out of the utmost respect for the soldiers, the men and women, who died or have life changing injuries as a result of serving in Iraq. I know I appreciate it.
But it's Vietnam Part 2. There's no winner and there's no loser. We need to get out and let them figure it out.
Our #1 priority has got to be protecting our borders, firming up the economy and taking care of the US before we start a war with every third world middle east country out there.

JJ,
I'd like to think it was the American people who backed him. You've got admit that after eight years of Bush bending, if not breaking the constituion, and two wars, and numerous lies, Americans put their belief in the only candidate who even resembled change. I say give him some time. He isn't on the clock until January 20th, 2009 and he's already getting stuff together.

I pray that he does good for us but I just don't see it.
If that were really true, why would you be attacking him before he even steps foot into the White House? If you had the intention of giving Obama a fair shake, you'd focus on the policies he implements as President rather than political hackery.
