Not true coach. If you would have pounded the Red Wings and the PL during their home winning streak, could have set yourself up for the year. Need discipline, but tons of $ making potential. Look at the playoffs last year, books couldn't post O/U low enough in Caps/Bruins series or high enough in Philly/Pens. All about making $. There is a reason why the limits are so low in Hockey and Baseball compared to NFL. Get your ass on a set of skates! You can even skate behind a chair like the kids do.

The first month in the nhl is a goldmine.The dogs are hiting like crazy and vegas has no idea how to cap the first few weeks .I should be making money right now instead i am losing money on fixed nfl games

So far 112 players have crossed the pond to play for little $$$ & some are even paying to play - I heard Spezza pays around 46k for insurance to play in the Swiss league.

The large earners 3 million & above should do just fine for a little while - It's the folks making the minimum $525,000 that have started to get accustomed to the finer things in life who will be hurting soon. Sad that they have little to no pull in this shitstorm...

Interesting little tidbit about Spezza that I never knew - I usually just stick to the stats unless something really jumps out like when Avery commented about 'Sloppy Seconds'. That was a 'grabber! I'm surprised that Phaneuf did not beat the shit out of him for a comment like that. After a comment like that most folk would ensure Avery was eating from a straw for the foreseeable future.

I hope you're right Vegas - the NHL just cancelled the first 2 weeks of the regular season today. From what I'm reading, it looks like both sides are digging in their heels and I expect to see more cancellations...
