Detroit is a shit hole but in all reality, I wouldn't fear for my life being in Detroit. Nothing has ever happened to me or anyone I know, well I take that back my bro was down there one night with his buddies and a guy walked up stuck a shotgun in the window and told them to get out, the car was in reverse and his buddy slammed in out of there but the car was shot at, no one hit.

woodward ave between Masonic Temple (might misspelled) and couple of blocks North of MLK blvd is getting nicer. they seems to be building new lofts around there. you'd be crazy to live there, that area is close the the culture center but still pretty shitty.
