Pk, -.5 @-118 when you can bet ml at plus 100?

ok so lets say you lay -118 on pk/-.5 so you have 118 to win a hundred.. what you actually have is 59$ on the soccer team at PK and 59$ on the soccer team at -.5

in a case of a draw in this bet.. you will be refunded 59$ of your bet (PK portion).. and lose 59$ (-.5)

if you lay $100 to win $100 on a +100 ML you will loose all your money were the game to end in a draw..

This is what I thought. I called and they said no.

Then they lied to you. If you play a PK and the game ends in a draw you should get your bet back. As mentioned before if you play a PK/-0.5 and the game ends in a draw, you should get half of your bet back.
