Owners pulling the strings guy. Goodell is just a puppet, sort of like the President of the United States.

If the NHL had one chance to be relevant you would think that now is the time given the exposure last years final series gave them.

So what does that fukkin Eddie Munster fuk do.

                Locks the fukkin doors.

Yes he is. And I understand that he is a puppet, he is paid by the owners, but what is OUTREAGOUS is that Goodell didn´t accept that the referee made the wrong call, he could redeem himself by saying it was a mistake, a terrible call and move on, but no, now he is somewhat saying we fans are stupid or blind because that was a touchdown. And because of that he has lost the little credibility he had left. He is a stubborn whore. Stand up to the owners,be a man, solve the situation ASAP, if not, don´t disgrace the league and better quit. Worst comish for sure. Fuk him.

Well, considering the job of a "commissioner" is akin to a Fortune 500 CEO....his main concern is to make sure the NFL is a financially thriving business, not whether you think the game is too soft. If you look at all the indicators of financial success (attendance, merchandise sales, television contracts, media development, etc...), he has been wildly successful.

Anyway, even with this ref debacle, everyone was watching and would still watch next week with replacement refs.

In times like these he will be bashed but in hindsight he will be looked upon as very solid IMO.

Once the emotion is gone, the picture usually becomes clearer.

All that might be true but it is not because of Goddell. While it might take a few years, fans are getting fed up with the nfl.

Not me, I vote with my checkbook (on everything) I'll turn it off and find something more productive to do...it's just a game anyhow...I'm sure enough people will still watch though...

I don't think people even know what he does day to day, blaming him for the lock outs is idiotic. The owners are to blame for both.

He is the voice of the owners.
