              Two questions about last night's ending:

              1) Why was the play reviewed if it couldn't be overturned?
              2) Why was the ruling on the field technically a "touchdown" when one official signaled touchback and the other TD simultaneously?

                  What I found puzzling was why didn't the officials confer with each other before signaling either touchdown or touchback.
