You put up with 7 years of record gas prices yet want Obama to deliver it overnight?

Perhaps you liked the $7 rise in oil today as a part of the "Election Rally". We'll see just how fast we can "not drill" ourselves out of this problem. No need to worry about trying to bridge the infrastructural gap while we transition to alternative energy sources. It's just most important that while we stagnate our economy with $5 gas and continue to fund the enemies of our ideals, we revisit those obscure and vague, yet oft-repeated words..."We can not drill ourselves out of this problem."
It should be exciting to see just how effectively we can tan and blow ourselves to energy independence.

You keep saying that. I'm guessing you dropped out of your intro to microecon class after 2 weeks and didn't make it past perfect competition. Unless you want to argue that the oil industry is perfectly competitive, which would also be hilarious.

Negro please. The election has as much bearing on oil & gas as any of you schmucks have on a line for any game being played - ZERO. The oil industry does what they want, when they want.
