That either the Nationals, Reds, or both, will not make it to the NLCS.

    You heard it here first.

Giants, Braves or Cardinals will be one of the teams in the NLCS.

Something about the Nationals and this being their first time in the playoffs, without Strasburg, having to go on the road to face The Giants/Braves/Cardinals for the first two games is a bit unsettling

Though it didn't affect the Rangers in 2010 being in the playoffs for the first time in 11 years

The Reds on the other hand should have an easier path, but the Giants... their pitching can be lights out at AT&T Park and what if the Giants take the first two games there? Not sure if Reds can win 3 in a row at home to salvage things.

I think this is a safe bet. I mean the Phillies did lose last year in Round 1 as overwhelming favorites

I like the Cardinals too, they have underachieved this year based on stats but can make a run. I would love a Rangers-Cards rematch in the World Series

I could see the Cards making a deep run also if they get in

cards won't even be in the playoffs, so there goes your chance with them. so its all down to the giants for you.

              pick the brewers.

Get real, Cardinals play no one but the Astros and Cubs from here on out, while the Brewers still have to deal with the Nationals

cardinals will not get past medlen/braves in the one game wild card playoff imo.

think reds go far, call me crazy

Even the Cubs pull one out of their butt every once in a while. Here's hoping they do it two more times this weekend.
