Spanos could have allowed the game to "sell out" per the new blackout rules this year but didn't want to pay 15% for each ticket sold over the designated sell out capacity which would be about 60k. Pretty greedy on his part.

LOL, SD actually is the least ghetto-est big City in Cali, very nice laid back city compared to LA. Been to SD a handful of times, the PB and Gaslamp district, nice hang out place. SD also has several places that makes New York like pizza, great place to visit.

That is when there is 2,000 or so tickets left on Thursday and they get an extension (like they did last week). Viejas or Sycuan usually buys them up. Yesterday there were still 9,000 left. Just strange that they sold enough for a shitty Tenn team but were 10,000 short for a good Atlanta team, even with last week being the home opener and Junior's # getting retired.

Seems like a lot of people can only afford to go to one game this year and they are choosing Denver or Carolina.

A lot of them do stay home and then ask how far they have to drive to see the game televised, and some actually drive to Arizona or Vegas even when you can get a ticket for like $50, kinda stupid. The majority of Charger fans are retards anyways.

A lot of people that live in California come from other countries/cities hence they bring their sports loyalties with them. Not to mention our two largest minorities are Asian and Hispanic...who don't care for football anyways. They like that soccer stuff which they claim is the "real" football.
