He has a-lot of improvements to make, he had a great 1h last year. But I think that had a-lot to do with the lock out and the defenses were behind a bit. If you look at his 2h numbers last season, and this season they are not that great. Its not as if he has weapons surrounding him, he has two average running backs and one aging good WR.

He has the skills to improve. But he is not the Arron Rodgers, Luck , type of leader. That can carry his team on his back for 16 weeks. He is a good qb, I think he will be in the uppper half of the leagues qbs. But people always overvalue talent like him because he can run the ball, and he is 'fast'. When in reality, hes not that fast. He is big. Rodgers had a better 40 time, Newton had the same 40 time as Peyton Manning. Newton is just bigger and he was elusive in college. That is anther thing people confuse, how he was in college and how that translates to the nfl. Even the worst NFL defense is much more talented then the best college defense ever.

How? Newton isn't even a top 5 QB and has the worst attitude out of any QB ever yet you think he will be a winner? Why?

This. Unlike Young Cam has a big time NFL arm and decent field presence with still a lot of upside. He has a decent tight end. As the Bear said they need to start with the O line. It's one the worse.

it will be tough for Carolina if they keep up this mind set. I am a Panther fan and I plan to fade them the rest of the season. Ever since the Panther player murdered his girlfriend , Richardson has had the mind set of making sure his players are first class citizens.

the ironic thing is the Panthers actually passed up on Randy Moss bc of character issues and then drafted a guy would later murder.

The Panthers could have picked up Janoris Jenkins in the draft a much needed cornerback but passed on him bc of character issues.. (marijuana)

They also could have signed Plaxico Burress and that would have likely prevented Cams sophmore slump.

Panthers need to trade the most overrated left tackle in football jordan gross and they need to sign some free agent super star wide receiver to give Cam a security blanket.

Cam this year reminds me of Josh Freeman last year. They went out and got vincent jackson and BOOM , all the sudden Freeman is a stud.
