Anyone else see the Manhattan boys covering or even shocking Norman with a win this weekend?

#3K-State a very solid team, and Oklahoma is always good for a few letdowns.....

K State has not impressed me this year
They struggled to put away North Texas and Missouri State and the games were much closer than the final score
They blew out Miami but we will find out this season that Miami is trash

#5A local perspective. Stay away or take Sooners, especially if you can get for under 14. Short of the 2003 Big 12 Championship and some of their late 90's teams, this appears to be a typical K-State team under Snyder. Snyder with comparable talent or even short talent a bit will almost always win games by out scheming and fundamentals. However, when outmatched on talent, he does not fare very well. No amount of scheming and coaching can make up for talent gaps. Reference the KSU vs. NU games in early and mid 90's, OU last year, Arkansas last year, etc. This just feels like an overhyped game for K-State and I could see K-State losing by 3 or 4 TD in this one. K-State main chance of winning or keeping close has less to do with them and more to do with OU not playing well. Considering 2 weeks to prepare and Stoops respect for KSU and Snyder, I see little chance OU does not come out firing on all cylinders. OU will force KSU to throw and while Klein has improved his release is still awkward and slow. KSU receivers are either big and slow (Harper) or too small (Lockett). Klein needs separation in secondary to be successful which he won't get. K-State gets down early and is forced to throw giving the possibility for an OU rout.Comment -

#7Against North Texas and Missouri State, KState came out slow and were tied with both teams in the 3rd quarter. KState did nothing but punt punt punt, they managed a whopping ONE offensive TD combined in the first 6 quarters against North Texas/Missouri State
If KState comes out slow offensively like that, they are toast, because the difference here is that they are on the road against a team that actually has an offense. They got away with it against North Texas and Missouri State because neither team had an offense, though North Texas moved the ball at will against Kansas State all game.Comment -

#9i work with a K-st alum and big follower of their program, this is what he told me in regards to this game
"When playing Oklahoma, K-State either does well or they flop. I hope K-State can beat the spread, maybe even win the game but I wouldn’t put any money on it."Comment -

#13Good insights men
Regarding the cupcake games for the Wildcats, even LSU has kept theirs close and Oregon has failed to cover 2H and so on. But full games against conference opponents I don't see a let down coming.
Neighbor is from Tulsa so all I hear about is OU this and OU that and even he is worried seeing Landry Jones without his go to guy from last year. Just no playmaker has stepped up so far for the Sooners leads me to believe the Cats can cover this.
2 Unit play for K State and probably going to go with them on a Teaser too with either Michigan or the Clemson/Noles game for another shot.Comment -
