Carolina hasn't been running the ball well at all.. They rush like a single digit yard in the first game, and last week their lead rusher was their QB.. Giants from what I remember does a goo djob containing running QB like Vick and give fits.. It's a good match at secondary for the Carolina but overal it's a poor match up for Carolina on the offensive side against Giants defense up front..

Also Giants being on short week is meaningless since Carolina played on Sunday and they too are on short week.. Even though Giants are traveling, it's only an hour and half plane ride. It means nothing.. Giants also have good WR depth side losing Nicks suck but it won't hur tthem as much.. Giants will pound that ball and Manning will catch them on play action couple of times..

Don't forget that Car was the 3rd best rushing team last year. Stewart and Williams rushed for about 5 yards a clip last week. Throw out that 1st game against TB. Car should be able to run tonight, but I see more damage by Newton through the air. Playing Car.

I know the NO'S D is dogshit, but Car ran for 219 yards last week and avg over 5 yards a carry. So they had one bad running game and 1 very good one. They will be fine running the ball this year imo.

I know its the first half. I expect a reasonably high scoring game as well but knowing you need 13 to cover for the half, you have the Panthers on pace for a 26 point game. I think that's probably a good bet as I see the total for the game over 49 but wouldn't be shocked by a Giants 14-10 halftime score and you lose.
