Yea it blows that we lost him. Lots of folks blaming him for everything and lots of folks want him back. The AD has stated no way to that happening. I expect him to be back in a head coaching job at the end of the season too. Kentucky would be a good place though....they need all the help they can get and it keeps another elite coach in the SEC.

What did Petrino really do wrong, anyway? He put a chick on the payroll that had credentials for the gig, wasn't like it was some random from a bar. I suppose he did cheat on his wife with her. Was it violation of moral conduct clause?

What did he do wrong to be a scumbag? Nick Saban left the Dolphins in the night to go coach Bama. Also people who think Urban Meyer didnt have his dream job set up before he left Fla. are kidding themselves. A lot of coaches do those things they are just better at hiding it. The Pitt coach just left last year after one season out of nowhere to go to Arizona St.. I guess there are a lot more coaches who are scumbags. Running around on his wife is shitty but there have been other college coaches to do the same and nobody really makes a big deal out of it.

Our AD is stupid. Not saying I want Petrino but Mitch won't even consider hiring him unless he's told his seat is getting hot if he doesn't do something now. If Tennessee has a rough season I wouldn't be surprised to see Petrino end up there. Mitch had a chance to consider hiring Leach last year if he let Joker go but with Leach's past at Ky, he didn't even let the thought cross his mind.

Mitch seems to love Joker but with ticket sales at a record low I do expect Joker gone by the end of the season but I don't expect a smart hire
